On June 27 PhD student Jie Cai presented a paper on live streaming shopping motivations at ACM TVX, an international conference on interactive television.

As the conference was taking place in Seoul, South Korea, Jie also visited the SK Telecom 5G demonstration hall that featured self driving cars and virtual realty shopping.

Kimberly and Basma attended the OPIOID conference hosted at the Harvard Medical School in Boston from June 10-12 as part of an NSF icorps-funded project to help develop a social support system for opioid recovery.
